There are over six billion people in the world today, and 40% of them have never been reached with the gospel.  Beltway is dedicated to presenting Jesus Christ personally to this generation, to mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task, and to the training and equipping of believers for their part in fulfilling the Great Commission.

School of Missions (SOM) is the umbrella ministry for all short-term mission teams endeavoring to share the heart of Beltway Park to partner with local churches in the Nations of the earth.  The emphasis of the school is team preparation, understanding cross-cultural ministry and service to the local churches we partner with.  The School fosters unity of purpose between all of the teams being sent out from Beltway Park.  During the year the School of Missions will provide five sessions for mission teams to worship and pray together, and hear a short teaching on various pertinent topics.  Participation in these sessions is for all team members.

We encourage everyone to experience the hands-on ministry of sharing Jesus through a short-term mission trip.  Whether using a puppet, hammer, stethoscope, playing baseball or engaging in one-on-one evangelism, you'll have the opportunity to reach the lost and brokenhearted.  To find the trip that best fits you or your family browse the list of trips on the menu to the left.
