iTunes users, click here to go directly to the Beltway Park audio podcast page, or click here for our video podcast. Both are completely free! (Note: These direct links may not work if you are using Internet Explorer. For this reason and many others, our webmaster recommends Firefox for both Windows and Mac users. Alternative podcast instructions may be found below.)
Podcasting is simply a method of delivering and/or receiving fresh audio, video, or other media content from web sites. Users install a Podcast client program on their local computer and then subscribe to Podcast 'feeds' found at web sites offering Podcast content. The Podcast client checks the feeds on a regular basis for new content, and when new content is made available it is downloaded to the user's computer automatically. Something like Tivo for the web.
For example, a user who subscribes to the Beltway Park Audio Feed will automatically receive mp3 files of our content (sermons, etc.) within their Podcast client whenever we post new audio content.
Ok, that was a decent explanation, but where can I find more info?

What do I need to get started?
You need to download and install a Podcast client such as Apple iTunes (for Windows and Macs)
How do I use iTunes with the Beltway Park podcasts?
Before you begin, make sure you have iTunes 4.9 or later. Any previous version will NOT work. You can download the newest version from apple.com. From the iTunes program, locate the Podcasts item in the Source menu and click it. At the bottom, you'll see Podcast Directory. Click here, and it will take you to the Podcasts page on the iTunes music store (don't worry, Beltway Park Podcasts are completely free of charge). On the right side at the top is a search box. Type in Beltway Park, or similar. You should find the results "Beltway Park Audio Feed" and "Beltway Park Video Feed." From here all you have to do is click Subscribe. The program will automatically download the latest high-quality audio or video each time you start iTunes.
Alternatively, you can subscribe directly to either podcast by simply clicking "Subscribe to Podcast..." under the "Advanced" menu in iTunes. From here, you will simply enter the URL of the feed to which you would like to subscribe.
To have mp3 audio files (approx. 10 MB for a 45 min. sermon) delivered fresh to you each week, enter:
