Physical Needs
Truck and car maintenance
Is it time to change the oil and filter, replace or repair brakes, tune up, check and replace the belts and hoses on your vehicle. Let us take care of these small repairs and for you.
Once a month on Saturday morning mechanics are available here at Beltway Park. The labor is free. The only cost to you is for the parts and fluids. Sign up at the Car Maintenance Kiosk on Sunday mornings when available, or call the church office to get the date for the next scheduled Care Maintenance Saturday.
Donated cars
When cars are donated to Beltway Park, eligible recipients need a driver’s license and the ability to purchase insurance for the vehicle. Costs include the tax, title, and license for the vehicle and any necessary repairs. Payment plans are offered without interest.
Acts 4:32
Beltway Park receives and donates major appliances including refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves, and all types of furniture. If you are in need of an appliance or furniture, please contact the church office.
Food pantry
Our food pantry is staffed by qualified volunteers. Dry and frozen food, toiletries, medicines, kitchen staples, and washing soaps are all available. Recipients can come once a month and shop for what they need for that week. Budget counseling and meal and grocery planning is provided.
Budget counseling
Budget counseling is available for those who want to get out of debt and manage their money more effectively. Schedule a one-on-one meeting with our resource team and follow up with the Financial Peace University course from Dave Ramsey for further training. The course is offered on Sunday mornings in the fall.
Benevolence
Assistance is available for those who have received a disconnect notice for one or more of their utilities and for emergency medical needs. Recipients meet one-on-one with our resource team to discuss their needs. Each situation is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Assistance is also provided for those looking for jobs.
